Keeper app How to create a strong password

Creating a strong password -  a Keeper app review for Android, Windows, and Apple

I don’t know about you, but before I download ANY app, I always read through the list of app reviews and/or look through the customer feedback section. Maybe not everybody does that…but I definitely do. A lot of times, reading the manufacture specs can be misleading, and ultimately disappointing. It’s good to hear the pro’s and con’s from people who have already  used them, not just the developers. And in turn, I also write reviews on certain applications or products I buy. I strongly urge you all to do the same. It’s almost common courtesy these days. Developers need feedback on how to make the product better, and its a way to find flaws, bugs, create enhancements, and ultimately make it the public’s go-to application. And as we all know, customer satisfaction is key because Word of mouth is EXTREMELY important. Think about it; you go to a restaurant, and the waiter messes up your order, or your food is undercooked or cold. The next time your friends suggest going out to dinner, you put your two cents worth in there by saying, “That place is horrible. I’m NEVER going there again.” Not only have you lost potentially lost a customer for life, but it is also degrading the reputation of the restaurant. This could cause a very nasty downward spiral, very fast.

How to create a strong password

As I was saying, I always do my research before downloading a new mobile app. (Before pitchforks and torches attack me, I have an iPhone 4, running a Windows 8 PC I built, and an Asus Transformer Prime Android tablet – I have all my bases covered). And actually, I learned of this app through a word-of-mouth discovery.

Being a TEA(Technology Education Agent), I am required to always be up to date on the latest and greatest tablets and electronics. It’s almost frowned upon, in my position, to not know the answer to any techno-stressing environment. I was having a consultation with a customer one day, maybe a month or so back, and I was demonstrating Dropbox, and how I have created a Word document at home with all of my logins and passwords on it, saved to Dropbox. So I can always have my passwords on the go. The customer immediately started smiling, and proceeded to show me Keeper.

What is Keeper? A positive free review

Keeper is a password management app. (I’ll make a video review in a few days - I have a TON of new websites I have signed up for recently)) It manages my passwords. For free (Unless you want to sync across all your devices, which is only a measly $9.99 USD a year) In this app, you can create multiple categories to save all of your usernames and passwords to. In mine, I have the following categories made: Email, Bank, Empower Network, Social Networking, Tax, Music. In total, I have probably around 25+ logins for my favorite websites.

Do you know how hard it is to remember ALL of those? Especially with multiple(6) email accounts? Different security questions? Different usernames and passwords? Never again will I have to click the dreaded “Forgot my password” link.

Keeper makes it simple with 1-password log in. Just one. Make sure you make it secure – as you should anyways. A good password, according to Apple and Amazon, is to make it at least 8 characters long, containing at least 1 uppercase letter, 1 lowercase letter, and 1 number or symbol. So, all I have to do is remember ONE password to log me into Keeper, and Keeper has a form saved with all my passwords for unlimited amounts of websites on. I seriously show this app to every single customer at work now, and use it on a daily basis. It’s a Godsend. Check it out here!

Isn’t it weird how a single variable in life can change the future so drastically? Much like the Keeper app, Empower Network has changed my life around. I get to blog about Creating a Strong Password, for instance, and write online reviews based off of personal experiences.

Dumb Ways to Die – So many dumb ways to die

by Daniel Brooks

Dumb Ways to DieYou’ve worked hard today. Lets take a break for a minute, and watch this comical little video calledDumb Ways to Die“. If you don’t smile, or catch yourself singing this song at some point in the next 24 hours, or share it with a friend…there’s something wrong with you. Laughing is happiness!

But seriously, these are “possible” ways to die. Rare occurrences no doubt, but sadly there probably is people in this world who have died in these ways. I do think this video has a second meaning as well. While these ways, are in fact, Dumb ways to die, I think this video means one thing:

Life is Short.

Life is too short to spend it doing something you don’t enjoy. It’s too short to waste it at a dead-end job, working long hours and weekends and always being away from your family. Because who knows, maybe you will be one of those people who set fire to their hair and die suddenly(I really hope not, that would be an awful way to go..)

As for me? I chose a different path. I decided one day that I was going to merge what I like doing best into a career. I’m a salesman and an internet guru. I spend a couple hours on the internet a day – doing nothing. Just surfing the internet. Watching random videos. Reading interesting articles or blog posts. One day it clicked for me; people MAKE MONEY doing this. They write about their opinions[reviews] – on anything -  and get paid.

As of today, Empower Network ranks number 479 on the Alexa web ranking website. That’s 479 ON THE INTERNET. There’s millions of websites and domains, and Empower Network is still ranked so high. Become a part of this fast-growing community of bloggers like I did, and start that new life you have been searching so desperately for. Feel free to send me an email or sign up for my emailing list and I will help you succeed.

What if Money didn't matter?

What if Money didnt matter?

by Daniel Brooks

November 29, 0212

“If you say that getting the money is the most important part, then you will spend your life completely wasting your time. You will be doing things you don’t like doing in order to go on living - which is stupid.

How to blog with empower network

What if Money didn’t matter?

It’s fun to think about sometimes, isn’t it? No money, no bills, no expenses. Although, this video has a somewhat misleading title. Money is always going to matter; some just prioritize it more than others.

I have a video for you. I’m telling you, spend 3:09 minutes watching this, and I guarantee you will feel something. It’ll make you realize that life is too short to be miserable.

But what if money didn’t matter…

The fact of the matter is, is that money DOES matter. You’ve heard the phrase “money makes the world go round”. That is true; it does indeed. But who says you have to be miserable earning money and making a better life for yourself? To me, working from home, my own hours, at my own pace and leisure – spending MUCH more time with my family and the ones I care about…seem like a much better alternative than making a ton a ton of money, and not even being able to enjoy the little things in life.

But what if it didn’t matter? Where would you choose to spend YOUR free time? For me, I would choose to stay at home, spend time with my girlfriend and daughter, work my own schedule, and get paid for ALL the work I do. 100% of it. Isn’t that how life should be? As a working individual, I feel it is important to be rewarded for the hard work and dedication we do in life. And here at Empower Network, that is exactly what they do. Click here and send me an email, and I will show you just how easy it is to turn your life around, and make more money than you ever though possible!

How to Post on the Empower Network Blog.

There is no secret to creating a powerful post on an Empower Network Blog that will grab someone’s attention and widen their eyes in anticipation for every written word.  If you can grab your readers attention within the first sentence or two, you will have succeeded. Don’t believe me? Keep reading and see.

What to post about on the Empower Network.

These are many common questions shared by the new comers to the Empower Network.

What is a post?

What to write about?

What interests me won’t sell?

I’m not a good writer, what can I do?

How do I attract visitors?

The definition of a post:

As defined by is, “Posts are the entries that display in reverse chronological order on your home page. In contrast to pages, posts usually have comments fields beneath them and are included in your site’s RSS feed.” In other words, a post is something that you either type or paste on your blog and hit publish. You have now pasted your first post. Congratulations!

Everyone will remember their first blog, as I do. And everybody ESPECIALLY remembers their first affiliate they’ve been able to sign up.

What to write about on an Empower Network blog?

I won’t go into detail about what you should write about. Everyone has different interests. I firmly believe you will do much better if you blog about something you are passionate about. I always find it much easier to write about my interests, my goals, and my beliefs. Of course, this might not be your niche, so you will have to thoroughly research the topic before committing yourself. Then begin writing.

What interests me won’t sell on an Empower Network blog.

In the beginning of my online journey, this is the question that is unfortunately engrained into most readers minds: “How can I possibly make money with my interests? My interests have no cash value. They aren’t interesting enough. I’m not a businessman!” Those, sounds like excuses. Empower Network is not for wussies – you will head Dave and Dave say that time and time again. If you can write about and share your ideas then they have cash value. People are out there, trust me. Think about it; how did you get here?

How will posting about a new app you downloaded, for instance, translate into making you cash? Because think about it; the better you  rank on Google, the more hits your blog entry will receive. If you write an excellent review on a certain app on how it betters your life, and more people read it, you’re driving traffic to your website. It really doesn’t matter what to post on an empower network blog, but always end with At the end of every post you can still link back to the Empower Network and say something like, “If you want to start your own blog regarding apps and their positive/negative attributes, Click Here!”

I can’t write, what can I do to create an Empower Network blog?

There is only one answer to this question and that is to write. Period. Over time you will improve. If you don’t like to write and have no interest in it, then you are in the wrong business. Do something else because blogging is for people who are at least willing to write. Yes, you can outsource and get plenty of original content to fill your blog. It will not be coming from you, so your readers will never get to know you. This may not be important depending on the niche, but the Empower Network is not for wussies, nor is it exclusively for writers. However, it definitely helps to know and have a willingness to blog consistently and by your own hand. So get to it! Start practicing and do it by your writing about your favorite topics.

How do I write a post on an EM blog that will grab Google’s attention?

Once you’ve written your post and hit publish a whole new world opens up and the key is to learn how to grab the biggest chunk. It all starts within the post itself. It’s called Search Engine Optimization. You’ll learn more about that later. Click one of my links to find out more!

Black Friday Madness: The Before

Wearing a blue shirt on Black Friday at Best Buy is the equivalent of being in a zombie apocalypse without a shotgun. You will be targeted and swarmed in a matter of minutes.

Black Friday: The Before

This is the one “holiday” retail chains love, customers live for, and employee’s absolutely despise. As an employee at a Big Box electronics retailer, I’ve worked every Black Friday for the last few years, and there isn’t much I haven’t seen or been a part of. As of Tuesday, we have over 50 people camping out in front of our store. That’s 50 people sacrificing their week, their Thanksgiving, and their family time, to save their hard-earned money on electronics and services. And by camping, I mean CAMPING. Pitching a tent, being confined to a line queue, and not showering for days on end. By the time our doors open as 12:00 midnight Thanksgiving night, there will be a line wrapping around our building with 300+ paying customers. It will more than likely be yet another $1 million day at Best Buy. We like to call it “Green Friday”, for obvious reasons. Here’s a picture I took earlier, so far, there is 9 tents set up:

Camping Out Best Buy Black Friday

That also means most of us employee are working mandatory 12 hour shifts, starting at 10pm ON Thanksgiving night. Nobody wants to spend their holiday working. In retail, we forget what its like to have weekends. I don’t even get two days off in a row. Holidays aren’t holidays anymore, but just another extremely busy day at work where we get paid time-and-a-half. And its not even that so much that, as having that lingering feeling of “okay, I have 8 hours to enjoy with my family today. Now seven, now six, now five” so on and so forth. I don’t get to truly enjoy Thanksgiving, because I know after all the turkey and pumpkin pie I consume, that the clock is ticking away until I have to punch into work.

What is Black Friday?

For those of you who have never been a part of the madness, Black Friday is a day where customers typically get products for an awesome price by coming into that store that day and spending their money. It works like this:

1. Ticketed Items

These are usually door buster items, meaning most of the products we sell are in limited quantity, on a first come-first serve basis. If we get 28 laptops shipped in for Black Friday, and you want one, you HAVE to have a ticket to guarantee you will get that item. In order to do this, customers wait hours (and days, in most cases) ensuring they will have a ticket.

2. Sales Prices on everything else

DVD’s, gaming consoles, televisions, digital cameras, mp3 players, and accessories all go on sale. But, only on this day. This helps drives traffic to the store.

Customers make a game out of it. We had a local news station come in and film our store earlier this week. I had the opportunity to be filmed this year, and show and explain to the local news crew what the must-have items of 2012 will be. Which, I won’t lie, was pretty exciting to be a part of. They plan out their entire day, figuring out which stores to hit and when. They take a whole new meaning to “shop till you drop”.

Why I don’t participate in the Black Friday madness

I choose not to shop on Black Friday for a number of reasons. (Not only due to the fact that I’m always working it). You would not believe the amount of greedy customers that walk through our doors on this day.

“WHAT DO YOU MEAN you don’t have an Ipad mini in stock? Let me talk to a manager.”

 ”I don’t care if you’re busy – get me your manager. I’m a paying customer! I’ve spent a lot a money here!”

“These lines are ridiculous! I’ve got 3 other stores to hit today and I’m never going to be able to get everything I need if you don’t hurry up and get me out of here!”

“I am NEVER shopping at Best Buy again.”

“I can’t find ANY help! All I need is to get [insert product here], is that SO hard?!”

These are pretty common comments heard throughout retail stores. And you’d think I’d get thanked for staying up all night, catering to their every whim. But that’s pretty rare.

Which is yet another reason I love Empower Network. We never run of products or information to sell. We get paid fairly for the amount of hard work we put in, in 100% commission-based increments. Many people work their own hours(no more mandatory holiday and weekend shifts!) from the convenience of their home. It is truly a business everyone who comes across, should take advantage of. You are given every opportunity in the world to succeed. All you have to do is take your first step, and jump in with both feet. Click on any of the links on this page, and send me your email. Feel free to leave me any comments as well. If you(or ever have) worked Black Friday in retail, share some of your stories in the comment section below!
